General Info
ENROLMENTS:
Please email info@dancewanaka.co.nz with the following info.
Student name, dance style preference, age, date of birth, parent/guardian name, phone/mobile contact number, email address.
We willl respond to confirm your enrolment asap.
FEES:
- Tuition fees are listed beside classes on the timetable.
- Invoices will be emailed at the beginning of term. All term fees are strictly payable on invoice within the first 2 weeks of each term.
- Term 1 finishes on Thursday 5th April prior to Easter weekend. Those classes affected by this, have been accounted for within the fee structure.
- No refunds will be made once lessons have begun, unless under exceptional circumstances.
- Payment preference is by direct bank transfer. Bank account details are on the invoice. Any cheque payments to ‘Dance Wanaka’ please.
STUDIO:
Dance Wanaka operates out of a custom built studio on 249 Riverbank Road. There is a waiting room, to wait before classes and for parents to view classes in progress.
UNIFORM:
Ballet: All students are to wear leotard, tights & pink ballet shoes. Long hair must be tied back in a bun & short hair off face with hair band. For BBO examinations, the following regulation dancewear is essential & can be viewed & purchased here. Primary ballet students wear pink, Grade 1-3 wear blue. Dance Wanaka curently teaches Int Foundation RAD syllabus, and regulation colour leotard is black for this examination.
Jazz students are to wear black 3/4 leggings, black jazz shoes & Dance Wanaka singlet (purchased in the studio). Hair must be tied up and back from the face. It is not mandatory that Primary Jazz students wear shoes - bare feet is sufficient.
Hip Hop students are to wear street shoes/sneakers ( clean) and exercise wear they can keep cool in.
Students are encouraged to bring drink bottles in to the studio.
DANCE WEAR SUPPLIERS:
